The surest way to reach the Journal is by email:

By mail:
The Good Neighbor Journal
[REPLACE: street address, city, state, ZIP]

Letters are read by a person, not a machine, and there are not many of us. Email usually gets an answer within two to three business days, and rather longer in the week an issue goes out. Mail takes as long as mail takes. Corrections go to the front of the line.

What we cannot answer

The Journal cannot answer personal medical questions, and we will not try. We have no clinical staff, we do not diagnose, and we have no way of knowing your history or what you have already been told. Anything clinical — a symptom, a medication, a test result, a decision about treatment — belongs with your own physician, who can actually examine you. In an emergency in the United States, call 911.

Writing to us

Please keep a letter general: a subject you would like to see covered, a correction, or a note about the paper itself.

There is no form on this page, and that is deliberate. Email is the address we watch every day, and it is the one that leaves you holding a copy of what you wrote. Send it to hello@goodneighborjournal.com, or use the mailing address above if you would rather write by hand.
